The floral print stands out on a black, ecru and red ground, a combination that gets noticed without ever shouting. The Cassandra dress is short, buttoned in silver all the way down the front, and its pockets are discreet but definitely there. That detail is usually what settles it.
Straightforward cotton
It is cut from pure cotton, a fabric that holds its shape, breathes and softens with wear. The sleeves are long, 62 cm, gathered at the wrists with an elastic. The matching belt comes with the dress and can sit high or low, depending on where you want the waist.
How to wear it
In mid-season, wear it on its own over black opaque tights with square-heeled ankle boots, the belt pulled tight, the top two buttons open. For more cover: a fine roll-neck underneath, a short cardigan over the top and a long coat left open. The red in the print calls for a cognac leather bag rather than a black one.

One size, fitting FR 38 to 42 (UK 10 to 14, US 6 to 10). Total length 90 cm, sleeve length 62 cm, chest 54 cm, measured flat, garment laid out. In the photographs Maria is 171 cm tall.
Care
Dry cleaning is what the house recommends for this piece. Between wears, a pass of steam releases the creases without flattening the fabric. Keep it on a wide hanger, away from direct light. Avoid a thin hanger, which ends up marking the shoulders.
